Our Mission

Fields of Grace is a nonprofit flower farm and healing retreat dedicated to providing a safe, peaceful place for women who have experienced trauma or who are caregivers in need of rest and renewal. Our mission is to create an environment where beauty, rest, and the love of Christ offer space for healing and hope.

Position Overview

The Marketing & Outreach Coordinator is responsible for increasing awareness of Fields of Grace’s mission, events, and giving opportunities through digital marketing, community outreach, and event promotion. This role communicates who we are, what we do, and how people can get involved — financially, prayerfully, and through volunteering — both online and in person. A core focus will include developing and executing marketing campaigns for our major fundraisers and ministry events.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Heart for the mission of Fields of Grace and a passion for serving women in healing

  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills

  • Experience with Instagram and Facebook marketing, including reels and scheduling tools

  • Comfortable gathering content in real time at events and on the farm (photos, short videos, quotes, etc.)

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage event timelines and promotional content

  • Basic graphic design and familiarity with Canva or similar tools

  • Valid driver’s license and access to transportation for local outreach

  • Photography or video editing experience (a plus, but not required)

Key Responsibilities

📱 Social Media & Digital Content (Facebook & Instagram)

  • Develop and implement a monthly social media content plan aligned with ministry goals

  • Create and post compelling, mission-driven content (7 days a week), including:

    • Testimonies, Scripture, encouragement

    • Behind-the-scenes farm and event moments

    • Volunteer highlights and calls to action

    • Donation and partnership invitations

  • Use reels, stories, and graphic templates to engage audiences visually and meaningfully

  • Gather content regularly onsite at the farm and at events (photos, video clips, quotes, testimonials) for use in marketing and social channels

  • Monitor messages and comments; respond promptly to community engagement

  • Track and report analytics monthly to assess reach and growth

🌼 Major Event Marketing

  • Lead and manage all marketing efforts for Fields of Grace's large-scale events, including:

    • Tulip Fest (our largest, multi-weekend fundraiser)

    • Fall Flower Fundraiser

    • Annual Gala

  • Work closely with the Event Coordinator to market and promote events that generate revenue for Fields of Grace

  • Develop comprehensive event marketing campaigns, including:

    • Pre-event promotional strategy (social media, email, print materials)

    • Countdown graphics, ticket sales reminders, vendor/sponsor highlights

    • Capture content during events for real-time posting and future promotions

    • On-site signage and day-of social engagement

    • Post-event recap and donor/partner appreciation

  • Coordinate with the event team to ensure accurate, timely, and mission-aligned messaging

  • Promote sponsorship opportunities and assist with media outreach and press coverage as needed

🤝 Community Outreach & Local Partnerships

  • Build and maintain relationships with local churches, businesses, and organizations

  • Schedule and complete monthly “flower & info drops” to introduce Fields of Grace to new communities

  • Visit women’s ministries, counseling centers, pregnancy resource centers, and local nonprofits with flower bouquets, printed materials, and ministry information

  • Coordinate church partnerships, volunteer groups, and outreach opportunities for event promotion and ongoing awareness

  • Maintain outreach records and track new growth areas

Work Environment

  • Estimated 15-25 hours per week (flexible with seasonal events)

  • Requires increased hours leading up to major events (Tulip Fest, Fall Fundraiser, Gala)

  • Occasional weekend or evening outreach and event attendance required
